Anjilee Vara

I began my compliance career in March 2005 with Medical Agency, where I spent over seven years developing a strong foundation in compliance processes, candidate vetting, and regulatory adherence within the healthcare recruitment sector.

In August 2012, I joined a different Medical Agency as a Senior Compliance Officer, where I supported recruitment teams and ensured high standards of compliance and governance were consistently met.

In February 2016, I broadened my professional experience by taking on a Recruitment Consultant role with Staffing Solutions. In this position, I was responsible for booking doctors with clients and managing the full recruitment cycle. This role gave me valuable insight into client needs, relationship management, and the end-to-end process. This experience has enabled me to become a more effective and well-rounded compliance professional, able to better support colleagues and stakeholders.

In January 2017, I returned as a Senior Compliance Officer, a role I continue to hold today. Over the past eight years, I have specialised in overseas support, drawing on my ability to communicate fluently in Hindi, Gujarati and English to assist candidates and clients more effectively.

With over 18 years of experience across compliance and recruitment, I am dedicated to upholding the highest standards while providing meaningful support to candidates. Whether assisting with compliance requirements, appraisals, or resolving challenges, I strive to ensure every individual feels guided and supported throughout the process.
