Leading pharmacies in the UK are warning customers to be aware of products without the required CE kite mark.

Some products bought from non-official sources have had the CE mark removed from the box and the syringe and should be avoided as these will not be covered by insurance companies.

The latest warning relates to Revolax and Dermalax.

All products bought through official channels like a pharmacy, for example Fox or Maxsthetica International Limited, will have the CE mark on both the outer packaging and the syringe and is completely EU compliant.

Products bought from non-official sources is not intended to be sold or used in the UK and has had the CE mark removed. Non-UK boxes are only intended for use in Asian countries and this is why the CE mark has been removed.

A CE mark is a symbol applied to products to indicate that they conform with relevant EU directives regarding health and safety or environmental protection.

If in doubt call your pharmacy or supplier and make sure your products have a CE mark so you will be covered by your insurance.
